Shaheen Afridi recalls first time of playing cricket

Pakistani speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi shared a flashback shot from when he was starting his cricketing career on Instagram, recalling the moment he first on the cricket pitch.

There is a time in life that shapes your life, the pacer said on the picture and video-sharing app Instagram.

“Cricket is my life, and this is the moment, the day I started at zero, and it was the best moment of my life.”

“When you’re at zero, you have the desire, the determination, and the drive to do a lot more. To never give up,” exclaimed the 23-year-old cricketer, who joined the national team at the age of just 18.

The young player is now engaged in a five-match home series in Rawalpindi versus New Zealand. The bowler, though, was benched for Ihsanullah in the second ODI.
