Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon along with women has inaugurated the People’s Pink Bus Service.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Pink Bus Service, Sharjeel Memon said that today we are going to start the pink bus service, people’s bus service has been started in Sukkur, and we have to make the mother and daughters more independent.
The Transport Minister said that it is the responsibility of the government to provide facilities to women.
He further added that efforts were being made to run buses for women in every city of Sindh, and most buses had separate seats for women.
Earlier, Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon had said that this bus will run from Model Colony via Highway Faisal Tower, pink bus service will start operation every 20 minutes in the morning and evening during office hours and after every hour rest of the day.
It should be noted that the entry of male passengers into the People’s Bus Service will be prohibited.
