Sharjeel Memon made Sindh information minister

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday inducted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA from Hyderabad district Sharjeel Inam Memon into his cabinet as an information minister.

Acting Governor Agha Siraj Durani, in presence of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, administered the oath to newly appointed minister Sharjeel Inam Memon at the Governor’s House on Friday morning. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by provincial ministers, advisers, special assistants, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput, and provincial secretaries.

Earlier, the provincial government had de-notified Transport Minister Awais Qadir Shah and in his place appointed Sharjeel Inam Memon. Memon has been assigned the portfolio of the Information Department which was earlier held by Saeed Ghani. After the reallocation of portfolios, Saeed Ghani would have the portfolio of Labour & Human Resources, while Sharjeel Inam Memon will be the minister for information.
