Sheikh Rashid condemns PTI workers’ midnight arrest

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad stated on Tuesday that it was a condemnable act by police to arrest PTI workers late at night without a warrant and abuse them.

The former interior minister stated on Twitter that police detained 70–80 PTI employees after midnight. I vehemently oppose torturing PTI political workers, he said.

According to Sheikh Rashid, it was extreme violence and barbarism. “They have made up their minds to thwart elections at all costs. They have started a crackdown on PTI employees because of this. Nonetheless, we have a high moral code and strong feelings,” he added.

The former interior minister also said that they would make Wednesday’s Jalsa in Lahore a historic event.

To defend Pakistan, Imran Khan, and the nation’s assets, Rashid said he would advise his party members and PTI supporters to take care of themselves and be prepared to give their hearts and souls.
