Soldier embraces martyrdom in Miran Shah

One soldier embraced martyrdom during a fire exchange between the troops and terrorists in Miran Shah, North Waziristan.

ISPR has said in a press release that an intense fire exchange took place between terrorists and troops in Miran Shah, North Waziristan District.

According to the press release of ISPR, Naik Zahid Ahmed (age 32 years, resident of Charsadda) fought gallantly and embraced Shahadat during an exchange of fire.

1 terrorist got killed, later identified as terrorist Zia Ullah. Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorist.

After the incident, the area was surrounded by the army and a search and clearance operation was being carried out.
