SSP Investigation Dr. Anoush Masood and Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider have refuted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s claim of misbehaving with women in jail.
After meeting the PTI women lodged in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail, SSP Investigation Dr. Anoush Masood, along with DC Lahore Rafia Haider, told the media that the news of mistreatment of women was fabricated.
He said that there are psychologists and special gynecologists’ inside the jail, in case of any emergency, better treatment will be provided.
DC Lahore Rafia Haider said that after the meeting with all the 10 women of PTI that no one complained about the lack of facilities.
PTI chairman had made a statement about the mistreatment of women prisoners in Kot Lakhpat, on which the caretaker Chief Minister Punjab had directed a two-member committee to meet the women prisoners.
