Star-studded telefilm ‘Hangor S-131’ gets Dec 26 release date

The much-awaited star-studded telefilm titled ‘Hangor S -131’ finally gets a release date after keeping the fans waiting for quite a long time. Based on the role of Pakistan Navy during 1971, the telefilm will be aired on December 26, Sunday at 8:00pm.

The news got disclosed by the channel just yesterday, with a classy poster showing all top-notch celebrities of the industry against a stormy background carrying the submarine on the name of which the telefilm is based.

With ‘Hangor S -131’, writer Saji Gul is making a comeback in the genre of telefilm writing, something the writer started his career with but later on moved towards commercial drama writing.

‘Hangor S – 131’ has been directed by Saqib Khan and stars Zahid Ahmed, Saba Qamar, Shahzad Sheikh, Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, Affan Waheed, Javed Sheikh, Nida Mumtaz, Laila Wasti, Haris Waheed, Maryam Fatima, Naima Khan, Hammad Shoaib, Arez Ahmed, Paras Masroor, Nayyer Ejaz, Adnan Shah Tipu and many others.

From the trailer, the telefilm, along with history, also promises a glimpse into the lives of those women who would send their husband warriors to the frontlines back when women were reduced to domesticity only, and thus had to keep waiting for months and months for their partners to come back from the battlefields.
