Sujawal teacher banned for harassing female student

Muhammad Ali Malik, director of Private Schools Sindh, has ordered strict action against the principal of a private school in Sujawal after he was found involved in the harassment of female students.

According to the notice issued by the concerned officer, a ban has been imposed on the appointment of Sana Ullah Kundi, principal of Prestige School and College Sujawal as a teacher in any private, as well as public sector school and he would also be barred from running any institute as an administrator or an owner.

As per the contents of the notice, the teacher was involved in the harassment of a grade 10 female student for which he was being punished.

According to the information received through credible sources, the fact-finding committee during the investigation found that the school was being run even without a general register and did not fulfil the criteria of a college as provided by the Sindh government.

One of the complainants, who filed a complaint of the incident, while requesting anonymity, revealed that the students were being admitted to the school with the intention to mint money, adding that the victim girl was reeling through intense mental depression in wake of this incident.

The girl complained to her parents about the antics of her teacher after he was forcing her to keep a relationship with him. After the girl refused, he started blackmailing the student which led to agony for her.
