Talks perspectives between political players

The hostile politics appear to be melting as both the ruling coalition and Imran Khan, the head of the opposition, are willing to communicate. A day after former prime minister Imran Khan volunteered to conduct talks with anyone on any subject “for the welfare of Pakistan,” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif proposed that political factions hold discussions to address the country’s ongoing political and economic problems. On Thursday, the PTI’s embattled leader struck a conciliatory tone, saying he was ready to talk to anyone and make any compromises for the benefit, interest, and democracy of the country.

Thousands of supporters have volunteered to shield Imran Khan from the police and Rangers while he is now holed up in Zaman Park, where he is facing charges and arrest orders. “I would not shrink from any sacrifice for the advancement, interest, and democracy of Pakistan,” he tweeted. I will make every attempt to communicate with anyone and am willing to do so.

Both parties need to put everything behind them to move on. The prime minister didn’t need to lament the PTI turning down two of his recent offers to engage in discussions. Politicians routinely participate in debates, but PTI has never handled this effectively. Due to the country’s severe political and economic problems, all parties must make positive contributions to a better future for the country.
