Law enforcement authorities killed a terrorist who murdered Naveed Sadiq and Nasir Hussain, the director and inspector of the Inter-Services Intelligence’s (ISI) Counter-Terrorism Wing in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Monday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Kurram Agency.
The two ISI officials were martyred by the slain terrorist, Umar Niazi, on January 3.
The security agents captured the terrorist who had suffered significant wounds after a gunfight. Eventually, Niazi died from his wounds.
Intelligence officials caught him before the terrorist could enter Afghanistan.
Sadiq and Hussain, two ISI officials, were killed by the terrorist earlier this month as they were in a neighborhood hotel in Khanewal, Punjab.
Sadiq was martyred in Khanewal while on a mission to destroy the network of a banned organization operating out of Afghanistan.
The perpetrators were on a motorcycle, according to South Punjab Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Sahabzada Shahzad Sultan.
Both the Hilal-e-Shujaat and Tamgha-e-Shujaat were given to the officials after their demise.
