The film adaption of ‘Billy Summers’ to star Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio is anticipated to take on the main character in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s bestselling book Billy Summers.

The Titanic star is being considered for the lead role with JJ Abrams directing the movie.

According to a report from Deadline, Warner Bros. has bought the best-selling book and is thinking about adapting it into a motion picture.

Depending on how Billy Summers’ script comes out, DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Abrams’ Bad Robot will produce the movie.

Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz wrote the screenplay for the film. Billy Summers was previously optioned by J.J. Abrams’s Bad Robot productions was turned into a limited series when it was published in 2021 and debuted at No. 1 in The New York Times bestseller list.

Large production companies are now turning it into a movie.
