They can’t digest PPP mayor, Bilawal rejects by-elections schedule

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has rejected the by-election schedule of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and asked the Sindh government to immediately challenge in High Court.

Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the world’s largest cardiovascular hospital in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto said that it was a “joke” by the Election Commission to schedule the by-election.

He asserted that for the first time in history the PPP made a clean sweep in Hyderabad, while the PPP emerged as the largest party in Karachi.

The Foreign Minister added, “Now they cannot digest that the mayor of Karachi will be from PPP. I am surprised that local body elections have been held in Sindh but the people are deprived of representatives.”

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said, “We treat based on humanity, NICVD should become a model for the whole nation in every province.” He claimed that the PPP sometimes fought the Thunder Squad and sometimes fought the terrorists sitting outside.

He said that the revolution in health was free treatment and the continuation of NICVD is not going to stop. He said that they will provide free heart treatment facilities in other cities as well.

Bilawal Bhutto said that for the last 10-15 years, the opposition had been character assassinating PPP but NICVD was a befitting reply to everyone. “Some say they have struggled for 30 years but I built the world’s largest free treatment center at the age of 30.”

The PPP chairman further said that they should show an institution like NICVD in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Leave the politics of extremism, bullying, hatred, and division, and nowadays hate politics means harming oneself.
