Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that those who plunged Pakistan into the fire of hatred and misled the people and pushed the country back for many years have been exposed.
During a live address from London at the Youm-e-Takbeer ceremony at Liberty Chowk Lahore, he said that Allah held hands in the examination hour and enabled the right decision. He said that they did not have aggressive intentions against anyone, it has always been the desire that the country should become the seventh economic power of the world just like it had become the seventh nuclear power.
Nawaz Sharif said “some people started pulling my legs in 2017, when I was the Prime Minister in 2017, the price of one dollar was Rs104, but today it is Rs300, flour used to get Rs33 per kg but today it is Rs120 per kg.”
“I have served Pakistan with utmost sincerity and love, considered the nation as my children, but I regret that on all three occasions I was deprived of pursuing the holy mission on one pretext or the other and later deprived”, he added.
