Three days in Gwadar

Gwadar is yet to be developed a lot but I would plea my friends and readers to go to Gwadar once, stay at Gwadar Club, refresh the heart, mind and soul with the waters of the Arabia Sea and then come back and tell me that How did they find Gwadar? And is our Gwadar and its beach less than any beach in Maldives?

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.” ~ Mark Twain

I enjoy travelling a lot. I love to travel whenever I have the chance since I love to discover new places and meet new people there. Some individuals value company greatly while they are travelling, but in my opinion, it is preferable to travel alone than with a bad companion. I frequently visit various locations in Pakistan, but this trip was just fantastic. Why was the vacation so incredible? The solution will soon be revealed to the readers. This time, the journey took place in Gwadar, the port city of Pakistan and part of the Balochistan region. The journey started from Lahore, I reached Karachi by air and then took a flight to Gwadar.

Only a few specific flights go to Gwadar in a week, and all the affairs and operations are done manually at Gwadar Airport. On reaching Gwadar, I felt that it was deserted. Gwadar,, with limited people, lack of facilities, and dry mountains did not impress me at first glance. Well, I had a three-day stay at the “Gwadar Club”, which is about half an hour’s drive from the airport. Near Gwadar Cantt and Pakistan’s largest airport, New Gwadar International Airport is developing very fast. On reaching the club, I felt that the real world lives here with complete facilities

By the way, there are a few more hotels built in Gwadar. But Gwadar Club is unique in that there is a part of the Arabian Sea inside the club which can also be called a private beach. In addition to this, excellent rooms and food along with numerous activities and facilities are available at the club. The real beauty of the club is the Arabian Sea on one side and the Mehdi mountain (Koh-e-Mehdi) on the other. The clean, cool, and light blue water and the lapping waves of the sea are completely refreshing and energizing to the soul. In the evening on the seashore, with the cool breeze, sipping tea lightens the heart, mind, and soul and sustains the spirit. The heart wants to spend the rest of its life in this atmospheric place.

Inside the club, there is a whole world. From picture points, swings, and lakes, everything is inside the club so that no one needs to go out for anything. I have travelled a lot in the northern regions, and although the beauty is abundant there too, travelling there has always left me tired. During my stay in Gwadar, I did not feel tired even for a single day. Rather, the old fatigue also ended here. I have never in my entire life seen and felt the beautiful sights of nature as much as I did when I came to Gwadar. For the first time in my life, I witnessed a beautiful view of the sunrise from near the sea. There is a sunrise terrace inside the club, from which beautiful sunrise views can be seen. Likewise, the sunset can be seen sitting on the beach and from the sunset terrace inside the club. These beautiful sights refresh the eyes, soul, and mind and make one think, “Who is the one, running the system of the universe in such a good way?”

Well, I go ahead and tell my readers more details about my trip. There is a relaxing lounge inside the Gwadar Club which also has relaxing machines. From VVIP to everyone else, the club has the best amenities and facilities for everyone. Gwadar lacks entertainment facilities for its people, but I am very glad to see that people from Gwadar and surrounding cities come to the Gwadar Club for recreation, tourism, and enjoyment. I met many people who came from the Turbat region of Balochistan to Gwadar Club just because it has a beach which is extremely clean and attractive.

This whole trip is full of beautiful memories. During this trip, I enjoyed it on the one hand but with all this, I learned and understood a lot spiritually and academically. There is still much left to write about Gwadar, but I will make it a part of future writings. But this trip gave me a lot of peace and happiness. I felt that I had seen Pakistan and its beauty up close now.
