Three small earthquakes with magnitudes of 5.1, 5.3, and 5.5 struck the Arabian Sea on Tuesday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
According to the USGS, jolts were reported between 2:30 am and 3 am. Whereas, the initial earthquake was over 40 kilometers and had a magnitude of 5.1.
According to the US Geological Survey, the second tremor, which was detected at 2:44 in the morning, was 5.5 in magnitude and 10 kilometers deep.
The third earthquake, which struck the Arabian Sea at 3 am, was recorded by the USGS as having a magnitude of 5.3 at a depth of 60 kilometers.
Earlier, a recent significant earthquake shook the provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as the nation’s capital, Islamabad. In earthquake-related accidents, at least nine individuals died and more than 160 others were injured.
