Toshakhana case: NAB summons Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi tomorrow

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi summoned Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi on March 21 in the Toshakhana case.

According to a NAB spokesman, former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi had been summoned in the Toshakhana case. NAB personally summoned Imran Khan and sent a notice to his Bani Gala residence saying that he misused his authority.

The NAB notice further stated, “You sold state’s gifts and did not declare.”

The NAB team also reached Zaman Park to give notice to Bushra Bibi who has been summoned on March 21.

Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau had summoned Imran Khan and former first lady Bushra Bibi to the Rawalpindi office on March 9 to investigate the Toshakhana case. The summon notice was sent to Imran Khan’s residence Bani Gala and Chak Shahzad Islamabad’s house.

In the notice, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) accused Imran Khan of selling gifts received during his tenure including four Rolex watches, an iPhone given to him by the Qatar Armed Forces in 2018, precious watches and other gifts that he sold against the law.
