Turkish film ‘Ayla’ to make it to Pakistani cinemas

After more than a decade of Turkish dramas’ fandom in Pakistan, it seems as if cinema goers who have a predilection for Turkish films will also be catered to from now onwards.

News is it that a Turkish film by the name of ‘Ayla’ is all set to release in Pakistan on February 11, and will be the first Turkish film to make it to the big screens here. The film, released by Distribution Club, has already won millions of hearts all over the world, and has now been dubbed in Urdu for Pakistanis to enjoy as well.

Sheikh Abid Rasheed, who happens to be the executive manager of Distribution Club says that the film has been specially dubbed in Urdu so that people here can have an idea of what good cinema is. He also added that Turkish movies already have a huge fan following all over the world owing to their unique ideas portrayed through quality productions.

The film carries a story of a lovely little girl named Ayla whom a Turkish soldier encounters in a battle field. ‘Ayla’ is filled with spectacular performances exhibiting a wonderful portrayal of human emotions and has received its certificate from the censor board to be allowed screening in Pakistan.

Sheikh Abid Rasheed believes that this film will introduce Pakistanis to Turkish cinema and will also help in strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
