Twilight fans gear up for another Twilight series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate Television is in the initial phase of making a TV adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling book series, Twilight.

Sinead Daly, known for her work on shows like The Get Down and Raised by Wolves, is reportedly writing the script for the Twilight series. Although the project is still in its early stages and doesn’t have a network/platform, sources claim that Meyer is expected to be involved in the television adaptation.

On other hand, Wyck Godfrey and Erik Feig, who bought the rights to the Twilight book series during his tenure at Summit Entertainment, are serving as executive producers.
The Twilight films recently moved from Netflix to NBC Universal’s Peacock streaming service.

Tracing back its history, Twilight earned more than $3.4 billion globally and catapulted actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner to worldwide fame. The film series began in 2008 with the first installment and continued with a new release each year until its finale with The Breaking Dawn: Part 2 in 2012. So our hopes for this new adaptation are high.
