Twitter criticizes Jimmy Kimmel for interviewing Malala Yousafzai about spit-gate controversy

Education activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai along with other celebrities and important figures were spotted at this year’s Oscars.

Malala, 25 years old “Stranger at the Gate” executive producer, attended the Oscars in support of her short film that was up for Best Documentary Short Film.

As per media reports, Malala had a strange experience with Jimmy Kimmel, the host of the 95th Academy Awards, who took the stage during the ceremony.

The education supporter was questioned by Kimmel, who claimed to take questions from the audience, regarding the turmoil surrounding Harry Styles and Chris Pine’s spit-gate incident that surfaced last year.

“As the youngest Nobel Prize winner in history,” Kimmel asked, “I was wondering, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?”

“I only talk about peace,” Malala responded.

Several Twitter users praised the Nobel winner for her calm reaction to the offensive and cringe-worthy joke, while others found the question unimpressive.
