Two soldiers martyred in terror attack

Two soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom when terrorists opened fire on a military post in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

“The troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged them,” the military’s media wing said.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Sepoy Zahoor Khan, 20, resident of Lower Dir, and Sepoy Rahim Gul, 23, resident of Abbottabad.

The area clearance was being carried out, it added.
