The United Arab Emirates president Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan has arrived in Qatar since the end of the boycott on Doha.

As per media a report, this visit comes based on the brotherly ties that link the two countries and their people.

Last year Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt lifted three and a half years embargo on Qatar.

However, relations between Abu Dhabi and Doha had not improved as quickly as those between Riyadh and Cairo, which restored diplomatic connections with Doha.

On November 20th, the president of Egypt and the crown prince of Saudi Arabia both attended the opening World Cup ceremony in Doha, while the vice-president of the Gulf state and ruler of Dubai attended on behalf of the UAE.

The 6 Gulf alliances were fractured by the political conflict that saw Riyadh and its allies suspend all ties with Qatar over its backing of Islamist groups they view as a threat to Gulf dynasty rule and its ties with enemies Iran and Turkey.
