Ukraine missile attack, 63 Russian military personnel die

At least 63 Russian soldiers have been killed in a Ukrainian missile attack in the Russian-held Ukrainian city of Makifka.

Ukraine claimed to have killed about 400 Russian soldiers in the missile attack.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian missile attack targeted the temporary residence of Russian soldiers.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that Ukraine fired six US-made high-mobility artillery rocket system missiles in the attack.

He further claimed that two missiles were shot down whereas, 63 Russian personnel were killed in the Ukrainian missile attack.

Earlier last week, Ukraine offered Russia conditional peace talks in February.

Ukraine’s foreign minister said that a summit should be convened at the United Nations for peace talks in which Secretary-General Antonio Guterres can become a mediator.

However, Ukraine demanded Russia face war crimes at the International Court of Justice before negotiations.
