A Ukrainian news agency has reported that Russia could be preparing a full-scale attack on Poland, the Baltic States, and Kazakhstan.

In its report, Ukrinform quoted a tweet by the adviser to the head of the President’s Office Mykhailo Podoliak, who cautioned the move may come as part of a larger military operation. He said that Moscow would launch special military operations on demilitarization and denazification. Podoliak references a Russian lawmaker who allegedly said that this move would only be the beginning. He went on to say that Russia has cautioned that more European blood will be spilled in the coming days.

On February 24 last month, Russian President Putin announced the launch of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been destroying key infrastructure and residential neighborhoods using long range artillery and missile strikes.

Resultantly, martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced. Thousands have died on both sides with many more wounded.
