Umer Sharif’s mortal remains to arrive home tomorrow

The renowned artist’s funeral prayers will be held on Wednesday

The mortal remains of iconic comedian Umer Sharif, who died in Germany on his way to US for treatment, will arrive in Karachi on Wednesday, family sources confirmed.

The family of the late legendary comedian said that the body of Umer Sharif will be brought from Munich, Germany, to Karachi via Istanbul.

His mortal remains will be flown to Karachi by Turkish Airlines at 5:45 am tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Civil Aviation has made all the arrangements in this regard.

On the other hand, Sharif’s widow Zarin Ghazal will also reach Karachi via Turkish Airlines flight TK0708.

The family members said that the body will be shifted from the airport to the morgue and funeral prayer will be offered tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3:00 pm at Omar Sharif Park in Clifton area.

The veteran actor will be buried in the graveyard adjacent to the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi.
