Another US official has reacted to the increased political violence in Pakistan, raising concerns over the humanitarian crisis.
Senator Jackie Rosen of the US ruling party has expressed concern over the increasing political violence in Pakistan. U.S. Senator, in a statement on Twitter, urged all parties to resolve differences peacefully. She said that the rule of law and democracy should be followed.
“I’m concerned about rising political violence in Pakistan & call on all parties to resolve differences peacefully & adhere to the rule of law & democracy. My thoughts are with the Pakistani people, especially as they recover from the humanitarian crisis caused by recent flooding,” she tweeted.
