News is it that among many films which were set to release in 2020 but will now be making it to cinemas, ‘Delhi Gate’ is also one.
‘Delhi Gate’, like ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ and ‘Lafangey’, will also be incorporating comedy, but with elements of romance and action along, thus emerging as a film with all the right ingredients for proper entertainment.
The news was disclosed by Shamoon Abbasi who had shared a long list of all of his 2022 films on Instagram and had asked people to tell which film they are excited about the most.
‘Delhi Gate’ was one of them, in which Abbasi will be playing a role of an affluent man whose love story with a woman will begin from Delhi Gate, one of the many popular gates of the walled city of Lahore from the days of Mughal Era.
From all of this, it thus becomes clear that Lahore with its alleys will serve as the setting of this film which will also be featuring Jawed Sheikh, Yasir Khan, Rashid Mehmood, Khalid Butt, Saud and Sheheryar Cheema.
‘Delhi Gate’ has been written by Kamal Pasha and directed by Nadeem Cheema.
