War for control: World needs a new social contract

War of control is no more secret in this era. It is not a right of the elite classes who engage in it secretly. It is equally a right of the lower classes to fight /struggle for control. Grips have to be loosened from the tightly controlled assets and it should be made easy for the needy to make use of these. In this war of control, weaker factions of the society must not be pushed away from control. Their participation in the institutional functions could give them confidence and their positive behaviours can make this world a livable place.

It is said that many systems of government are in practice in different countries of the world. Major types of government systems are; direct democracy, representative democracy, socialism, monarchy, oligarchy, autocracy, and totalitarianism. But the democracy is the most charming and prevalent among all of these. The reason is that for ruling others in the true sense, one needs their sanction. Democracies have the maximum impression that elected rulers have got this sanction from the public. The sixteenth President of the United States Abraham Lincoln claimed that democracy is the government of the people, by the people from the people. This is the general idea that people of democratic countries buy. Societies and governments’ edifices stand on the assumption that people will take care of each other and for settling different issues and conflicts there will be rules and laws obeyed by all. This understanding decreases the possibilities of conflicts and wars. People like peace for their prosperity and a better future for their children. Therefore, the majority of them live peacefully after becoming part of a system. It is supposed that all people will obey the rules and will not cheat each other. The lawbreakers are disliked and are considered rascals.

When in a society, this general social contract is breached continuously by individuals or groups, it results in public disappointment and frustration regarding this social contract. And this is being experienced in all systems of the world governments. World systems and social contracts have failed in keeping the trust of individuals all over the world, in every system people are looking for a new social contract, not based on false assumptions and hypocrisy, but to provide justice to the lowest stratum and bridge the abyss between wealthy and poor. In the majority of developing countries, people of the lower stratum are unaware to understand the core reasons for their hardships and the complexities of their systems. The reason is that the centuries-old social contract has been ignored by the upper classes in all societies. It is the same all over. Famous historian and writer of many popular books, Yuval Noah Harari, gives horrible warnings to the lower classes of the world and predicted that scores of people will be laid off in near future, and they will become irrelevant to their professions. He also points out the fast occurring concentration of wealth in the hands of a few world families. He has a strong belief that biological and AI advancements have made it possible for controlling the minds and making the common people slaves to the tycoons.

In the world environment, where all advanced countries and rich families of the world have a strong belief that the whole purpose of human life is to get control over the environment, strengthen it, enhance it, and then strengthen it, they teach their children that when we leave religious and philosophical beliefs aside and look at the bitter realities of the life, we see that everyone in the world is striving to have more and more control on the environment. Full analysis of this notion aware us of the need for a new social contract. Currently, individuals and corporations are striving for having control in their societies and countries, striving hard for control of the world community. Then again, in rich societies like the United States of America, multinational corporations and dozens of tycoons are competing to go ahead of others. We can conceive the consequences of foul play of technologically advanced and rich nuclear powers of this era. No doubt they are partly successful to avoid the Jungle law and pre-civilization life by so many tactics and through their propaganda machinery. They are in this position to maintain the status quo without the use of available assistance from mind control sciences.

We are not living in the jungle era, but in fact, we are facing jungle law, selfishness, and chaos from individual to international level. The real war is the war of control. Humankind has entered a fatal war where everyone wants to become a god. There is no end to it, and there is no available modus operandi of negotiations for it. At this juncture, mankind needs a new social contract. We do not need techniques of keeping the status quo, which is taking humans to the horrible abyss of consequences. We need a social contract for war, from an individual level to groups and then to nations. Furthermore, we need not see surplus labour as irrelevant to humans. They are the responsibility of us all and in the new social contract, we have to determine this responsibility once and for all. We need to accept the right of combat/war for everyone. There should be no laws for protecting the irrelevant wealth of the elite classes.

War of control is no more secret in this era. It is not a right of the elite classes who engage in it secretly. It is equally a right of the lower classes to fight /struggle for control. Grips have to be loosened from the tightly controlled assets, and it should be made easy for the needy to make use of these. In this war of control, weaker factions of the society must not be pushed away from control. Their participation in the institutional functions could give them confidence and their positive behaviours can make this world a livable place. Numerable groups or families’ control is creating all sorts of social, economic, and political problems in societies. The lower classes do not need good living and food only they need equal participation in control also New Social Contract must incorporate this extremely important factor in itself. Independence of war for control is the only solution to stop the impending horrible wars. This is about time, for a new social contract for all societies, and we have to ponder upon it for our own sake.
