Warned six months ago nobody will bail-out Pakistan after default, says Imran

Warned of compromise on national assets but I was threatened of cases, address to long march

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that he had warned six months ago that nobody will bail out Pakistan if it gets defaulted.

PTI Chairman said that the risk of loans had reached 64.5 percent and now the world didn’t want to take risk of giving debt to Pakistan. He also said that it was said that nobody was more competent than Shehbaz but look what he has done to the country today.

Addressing the participants of the long march he said that he had warned that national assets will be compromised in case of default but upon his reservations over default he was threatened with cases. Imran said that he had also warned that in case of default Pakistan will have to pay a heavy price.

Talking about the performance of the PTI government he said that they had worked hard to bring the country in the right direction. He said that GDP was taken to 6.4 from 5, remittances and exports were increased and many programs were started for the poor. He said that according to an economic survey PTI government had achieved beyond the set targets. He also mentioned PTI’s schemes including Roshan Digital Account, Bundle Island and Ravi Urban Project.

Imran, addressing through a video link, said that absconder Ishaq Dar was brought with claims that he will stabilize the economy but what has he achieved? He requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan that he has three landmark cases. He said that one case was of Arshad Sharif, the second of Azam Swati and the third of an attack on himself.

Imran said that Pakistan has reached this place and situation due to the conspiracy as there cannot be prosperity under the law of jungle.

He said that PTI is asked why were they in a hurry for elections. He said that PTI will still win elections even if they will be held a year later but the economic condition of Pakistan demanded immediate political stability that was necessary for economic stability.

Imran also criticized Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja that he was biased. He alleged that Raja was used to filing cases on him and PTI and he didn’t even investigate or moved the proceedings of PML-N or PPP cases further.
