The Federal Bureau of Statistics has released a weekly report on the inflation situation in the country. According to the report of the Bureau of Statistics, the weekly inflation rate increased by 0.92 percent and the overall inflation rate every week was recorded at 44.49 percent.
As per the report, the prices of 27 goods increased in a week, the prices of seven goods decreased and the prices of 17 goods remained stable in a week. The price of sugar per kg has increased to Rs 123.27.
The report suggests that the price of a 20 kg bag of flour increased by 81 rupees 66 paise, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour increased from 2 thousand 717 rupees, and the price of chicken per kg increased by 51 rupees 83 paise.
According to the Statistics, the price of potato per kg has increased by Rs 2.99 paisa, mutton by Rs. 2.73, and beef by Rs. 5.15 in a week.
The price of milk, yogurt, and eggs also went high, onions became cheaper by 14 rupees in a week, tomato prices decreased by 13 rupees to 15 paise in a week, and domestic LPG cylinders became cheaper by 122 rupees 58 paise.
