Fawad Chaudhry has stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold provincial elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without delay.
PTI leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Twitter, “Imran Khan has directed the MPAs to return to their constituencies, we will not squander any more time.”
According to Fawad the party’s MPAs have been instructed to prepare for the elections as soon as possible and the PTI will hold provincial elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without delay.
Fawad Chaudhry went on to say that the present Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has been avoiding elections and that the National Assembly elections will be held later.

It may be recalled that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had said in his statement yesterday that if the government was ready for elections by the end of March then they will not dissolve the assemblies.
Imran had said that they did not want any delay in the elections because of worsening economic conditions. He also said that national security and increasing insurgency in the country were also very concerning.
He said that the Chief Ministers had given him full support and power to dissolve assemblies to him and PTI will not delay the dissolution. He demanded the federal government announce general elections in the whole country.
General elections are scheduled after August 2023 in the country.
