It is not true only for skin diseases but also for many other diseases that we get because of our carelessness. We do not live a healthy life because of our food intake habits and our staying in an unhygienic environment. These were the words of Lahore’s well-known Dermatologist, Dr. Aslam Pervaiz. He said there are many skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, ichthyosis, vitiligo, hives, and seborrheic dermatitis. Skin disorders vary greatly in symptoms and severity. They can be temporary and permanent and may be painless or painful. Some have situational causes while others may be genetic. Some skin conditions are minor, and others can be life-threatening. Different people have different tolerance to diseases. We get sick from bacteria and also from food irregularity.

We need to think about our food. Seasonal vegetables and seasonal fruits of your region are most suitable for your body’s health. Generally, we find dirty and unhygienic vegetables in markets.  In that case, we can wash them in potassium permanganate mixed water. Sometimes we learn about the benefits of some food and start overeating it. Many times we like the taste of some food and enjoy its overeating. It is not good for our health. Many people could not get rid of their bad food habits they become diabetics or overweight. Overfat on their bodies generate many diseases but they don’t bother it. When we repeat our unhealthy food intake or physical practices it becomes our habit and we find it difficult to get rid of it. Before going to the doctor we must try to avoid such unhealthy lifestyles. Our diet must have some relationship with our routine physical work. Exercise and daily morning walk at dawn time can enhance our resistance to all kinds of diseases.

Along with appropriate food, there are some other very simple practices that anybody can adopt for keeping himself healthy. In our country, a lack of vitamin D intake is very common. For this, we can have the sun on our naked parts of the body for an hour or a half every morning. The sun’s UV rays help our body make this nutrient, which is important for our bones, blood cells, and immune system. It also helps us take in and use certain minerals, like calcium and phosphorus. Secondly, we can have a message about mustard oil. It makes our skin soft and bones strong. Having a barefoot connection with the earth can help earth the electromagnetic waves out from our body. If we don’t find any sanitiser around we can mix a teaspoon of vinegar in a glass of water and can wash our hands in it for keeping us free of bacteria. Adulteration of food is a big problem in our country. We must search for pure food and have a weekly schedule for the necessary intake of all types of Vitamins, protein, and minerals in our meals. Never allow your body to go lower than the minimum strength and fitness. Diseases generally grab weak bodies. Our nation is generally after the tastes and eats yummy things regardless of their food value and harm. No one gives any importance to the nutritionists in our country. They are very important people in the health realm. Get your nutrition needs weekly timetable from them and decide about your weekly food quantity and nutrition intake.  Always take care of balanced food. Never eat any food without knowing its nutritional value. One must wash his hands after touching currency notes, files, different railings, door knobs, and dusty things. The discussions turned toward general health tips and different wise people came up with different tips agreed by all:

  1. We should try to spend most of our time in neat and clean air and drink filtered water.
  2. Fresh and seasonal vegetables and fruits of our region are always preferable.
  3. With every meal, we should take a lot of fresh salad.
  4. Never take more food than you digest with sufficient exercise.
  5. Drinking half a litre of water at the beginning of the day and a quarter litre of warm milk before sleeping can enhance our life span by up to ten years.
  6. Always sit straight without any curb in the back and walk with your chest straight it will save you from diseases.
  7. Never run or jump immediately after taking a meal.
  8. Old people should drink more water and liquids than they feel like.
  9. In old age, different exercises are necessary for saving stiffness of different parts of the body.
  10. Avoid sugar, salt, and different spices and spicy foods.
  11. Don’t drink water immediately after meals, wait at least half an hour.
  12. Walking barefoot on the grass in the morning will keep your eyesight perfect.
  13. Avoid beverages and use fresh juices instead.
  14. In old age only chicken and fish suit us.

In the presence of viral diseases and epidemics take all necessary care.
