Various politicians in Pakistan have reacted to the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Attaullah Tarar, accused Imran Khan of corruption and arrogance.

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal criticized Imran Khan for not handling cases on merit and misusing charity funds.

Marriyum Aurangzeb denied any political motives behind Imran’s arrest and accused him of using institutions for political gain.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif emphasized that no one is above the law and the legal process was prolonged in Imran Khan’s case.

Aleem Khan, President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, referred to the arrest as karma.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed disappointment with the verdict and pledged to continue the struggle for Imran Khan’s freedom.
