Former governor of Punjab and PML-Q chief organizer Chaudhry Sarwar expresses support for the Pakistani army by saying, “When I was in the US, I tried to gather all senators and congressmen and told them that while you have spent trillions of dollars fighting terrorism, Pakistan army alone has defeated terrorism.”
Speaking to the media on Saturday along with Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, he asserted that the entire country supports the Pakistani army and that we must stand together.
“I always support the weak and poor, and I also call for the release of all those who are innocent and unrelated to the incident on May 9.”
Sarwar said, “The entire nation of Pakistan is aware that when political parties have difficulties, I support them.”
“I supported Benazir Bhutto while she was in exile, I backed Nawaz Sharif during Pervaiz Musharaf’s rule, and I joined the PTI when no one else was prepared to do so.”
When asked about the ban on the PTI, he responded, “I don’t support banning any party.”
He continued by saying, “I was not coerced into joining or leaving any party.”
PML-Q senior leader Chaudhry Shafay criticized former prime minister Imran Khan and said that Pakistan got freedom on August 14, 1947. He stated that they must all work together to ensure the development of this nation.
If Parvez Elahi chooses to leave PTI, he should form his party, according to him.
