Drama serial ‘Nehar’ is all set to release tonight and carries an ensemble cast with Saboor Aly, Areeba Habib and Osama Tahir taking the leading roles.
Although apparently based on domestic issues, the kind of which we are accustomed to watching, ‘Nehar’ promises to tackle them in quite an intense manner, with interesting happenings and unexpected twists and turns which may keep the viewers glued to the screen. #saveyourdaughters is how the hashtag for the serial goes, complementing the idea which its teasers give off, that of parents wedding off their daughters into fraudulent families without properly checking their backgrounds first.
Popular host and comedian Syed Shafaat Ali will also be featuring in this serial, with some of the finest senior actors along such as Saima Qureshi, Farhan Ally Agha, Rabia Naureen, Angeline Malik and Munzzah Arif. Written by Soofia Khurram and directed by Ali Hassan, ‘Nehar’ will run on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:00pm, which may not be the prime time slot, but given its wonderful star cast and intriguing storyline, the serial will probably attain the desired viewership and ratings.
