PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan reached Zaman Park to protect the former premier from police arrest. She stated that we won’t let Imran get arrested even if he decided to be arrested voluntarily.
While talking to the media outside Imran Khan’s Lahore residence on Tuesday said, that we are here to protect Imran Khan and will stand here till last.
Aleema said, “We need him, Pakistan needs him, they want to kill him and everyone knows it. We are not scared of dying.”
“We respect the police and army and they belong to us… Rana Sanaullah is answerable for everything.”
She stated that Imran Khan’s only sin is to ask for elections, it is our constitutional right to demand elections. “He is our voice and we will protect him even though the police are using tear gas and shelling on everyone.”
Heavy police contingent including Islamabad and Punjab Police equipped with armored vehicles, tear gas, and water cannon have reached Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s residence at Zaman Park Lahore to arrest the ex-premier.
Police have blocked the roads connecting Zaman Park including Mall Road while there are also reports of arrests of several PTI leaders.
