The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) medical community is preparing for new demonstrations against unequal pay.
They have issued a severe warning, claiming that they will stop offering their services unless their salaries are increased in the budget and serious action is taken against hospital bribery.
In Peshawar, the situation for patients who rely on government hospitals has drastically gotten worse. In order to address their complaints, the Young Doctor Association is urging the government to implement a pay increase of 50%.
If their demands are not immediately granted, the group has vowed to completely boycott all services provided by government hospitals.
Additionally, medical professionals have issued a warning that if their requests are not met following the boycott, they would intensify their protests by planning large-scale rallies around the province to draw attention to the seriousness of their issues.
