A youth was found dead in the office of a petrol pump Saturday night in Sujawal. The deceased identified as Sadiq Sheikh, who had been working as manager of that petrol pump for the past few months, was found dead under unusual circumstances with a bullet in his chest.
Local police upon getting information of the incident reached there and recovered a rifle from the crime scene and later moved the body to Civil Hospital Sujawal for autopsy, from where the body was handed over to the heirs.
PPP MNA Ayaz Shah Shirazi arrived there and expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased and directed SSP Sujawal to do a transparent inquiry into the matter. Officials of Sujawal police said that nothing could be said about the incident as mystery shrouded the whole episode.
He further said that the CCTV system installed at the crime scene was found disconnected which had made the incident further suspicious. Social activists accused the police of giving the incident the colour of suicide. No FIR of the Incident was registered till the filing of this report.
