Yumna Zaidi’s next is a sci-fi show titled ‘Crestar and the Knight Stallion’

The trailer for Yumna Zaidi’s next project is out now. Most probably falling in the genre of web-series, the project is titled ‘Crestar and the Knight Stallion’ and has been directed by American filmmaker Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad.

The makers say that the series will be incorporating the first ever Arab-desi superhero while presenting a story placed in the framework of contemporary science fiction sprinkled with desi humour deriving its strength from worn-out customs which now sound funny.

From its trailer, the show seems to have been set in the US for the most part. Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi, however, has not shed light upon the project, neither has told whether she went to the United States to get it shot or whether her desi spell was shot in Pakistan. Nonetheless, Zaidi’s eastern look, emphasized by her heavy earrings amidst a chaotic sci-fi setting lends a lovely touch to the show, offering content for all kinds of audiences.

The exact release date for ‘Crestar and the Knight Stallion’ has not been announced yet, neither has its platform been finalized. The director took to Instagram to share the trailer and also ask fans where they would like the series to be streamed.
