Comedian Babbu Baral remembered

The 13th death anniversary of the renowned comedian and actor of stage, television, and film industry, Ayub Akhtar, widely known as Babbu Baral, was observed on Tuesday.

Babbu Baral initiated his professional career as a comedian in Gujranwala in 1982.

Later, he joined the Open Air Theater in Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore. He was honored with the “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” and “Sitara-e-Imtiaz” for his contributions.

His stage drama “Shartiya Mithay” remains one of his most popular works.

Unfortunately, he battled cancer, hepatitis, and kidney disease during his life.
