To the surprise of many, the film boasts of a unique set of cast, with drama actors and veteran artists of Punjabi theatre making it together on screen.
The director himself has been observed saying that this Punjabi comedy film of his is targeted at a specific audience. The viewers of Punjab will be catered to this time, after an Urdu language film which has garnered worldwide admiration.
