The accountability court cleared Fawad Hassan Fawad and other defendants on Thursday.
It is pertinent to mention that Fawad was a former senior secretary to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Fawad Hassan Fawad, his wife, brother and Dr. Anjum Hassan were exonerated in the disproportionate assets reference case by an accountability court in Lahore.
The accountability court granted each accused person’s request for release.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed a reference for more than Rs4.56 billion against Fawad Hassan Fawad and others.
