Aleem Khan to attend int’l conference in Tajikistan

An international conference, commencing on Wednesday, will include participants from Pakistan, China, India, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. The event aims to foster global cooperation and enhance trade relations among these countries.

During a press briefing, Abdul Aleem Khan announced that Pakistan is actively working on developing a road network connecting Afghanistan and China to Tajikistan.

He stated that constructing new highways will enhance access to ports and corridors for commercial markets, promoting international trade from Pakistan and leading to increased global cooperation.

In related news, a high-level Pakistani delegation led by Abdul Aleem Khan is scheduled to visit Kuwait by the end of the month to bolster investment in Pakistan.

This delegation is expected to engage in discussions with the Prime Minister of Kuwait and key ministers, including those of Foreign Affairs, Power, and Petroleum. The Trade Minister of Kuwait will host the delegation, as stated in a news release issued on Friday.

The visit aims to finalize trade and business agreements between the two nations, with the Ministry of Trade and Commerce playing a crucial role in ensuring the trip’s success. Abdul Aleem Khan chaired a significant consultation meeting to finalize the necessary issues ahead of the visit to Kuwait.

During his visit, Abdul Aleem Khan aims to advance employment opportunities for Pakistani workers, particularly in the health and skilled labor sectors. Additionally, he plans to engage the business community and private sector in discussions to further strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
