Aleem Khan to attend regional conference in Tajikistan

China, India, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, and Azerbaijan have received invitations to a conference aimed at establishing a system linking Asian and European nations with Central Asian states.Tajikistan’s transport minister extended an invitation to Aleem Khan.

Aleem Khan voiced his support, stating, “Developing new highways will facilitate access to trade markets and ports,” and pledged Pakistan’s full cooperation in enhancing the road network with Central Asian nations.

He highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing efforts in connecting Afghanistan, China, and Tajikistan through a road network project, stating the potential for increased trade and collaboration.

In a separate development, Aleem Khan emphasized his commitment to ensuring transparency in the bidding process for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

During a Senate session, he stressed the importance of prioritizing facilitation over government involvement in business ventures, citing the necessity of PIA privatization for its sustainability. He declined to engage in blame games, focusing instead on fostering transparency and efficiency in the privatization process.
