US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned about Israel’s move to build more ghettos saying that the Israeli move would increase tensions with the Palestinians.

“The United States strongly opposes all unilateral actions that escalate tensions and undermine the prospects of a two-state solution,” he said.

On Sunday, Israel announced the legalization of nine settlements in the occupied West Bank and the construction of 10,000 more units.

On the other hand, in occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian youth attacked and killed an Israeli policeman.

Earlier according to foreign media, The Israeli army bombed the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Monday, which Israeli officials claim was bombed after rockets were fired from the Palestinian territory.

Several explosions had been reported in the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Monday, but no casualties were confirmed.

In this regard, the Israeli military said that it attacked the underground site of Gaza, where Hamas had stored explosives for the manufacture of rockets.

The Israeli military claimed the attacks were in response to Gaza’s rocket attacks on Israel on Saturday.

However, the Palestinian Red Crescent said a Palestinian has been martyred in an Israeli military operation in the occupied West Bank.
