Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, a leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), visited senior party member Bashir Riaz on Wednesday and extended her best wishes.
During the visit, she presented Riaz with a bouquet, reciprocating the gesture as he had earlier given her a copy of his book. Among the attendees at the meeting was PPP senior leader Sherry Rehman.
Bashir Riaz, expressing his gratitude on X (formerly Twitter), acknowledged Aseefa’s kindness during the visit, describing her as the “kindest Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari.”
Aseefa, the beloved daughter of Benazir Bhutto, made the visit accompanied by her good friend Sherry Rehman, making it a memorable day for Riaz.
In a separate event, Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari addressed a workers’ convention in Lahore on Tuesday, urging the public to support the PPP in the upcoming elections for the betterment of farmers.
She emphasized the party’s commitment to improving the lives of laborers and encouraged people to vote for PPP candidates, citing initiatives like the health card and the Bhook Mitao Programme led by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
