Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan to take on India once again on Sept 10

In the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan and India have advanced to the Super Four round after placing first and second, respectively, in Group A.

The Men in Green defeated Nepal by a comfortable margin of 238 runs in their first game, but the match against India was abandoned owing to Kandy’s relentless rain.

The Rohit Sharma-led team, on the other hand, gained three points from their games during the group round after defeating Nepal by 10 wickets.

The venue for the rematch between the two close neighbors, which is scheduled for September 10, has not yet been determined.

The match was originally planned to take place in Colombo, however the location may change due to the city’s poor weather outlook. The game is probably going to happen in Hambantota.

The Super Four stage will see each side play three games, with two teams from Group B, which includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, still to be determined.

Both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have currently won one game, with the former facing off against Afghanistan today at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
