Balochistan ensures the safety of foreign workers on CPEC

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, led the 16th provincial apex committee meeting, focusing on enhancing law and order, combating terrorism and smuggling, and facilitating the repatriation of illegal immigrants.

Attendees included high-ranking civil and military officials, with decisions made to launch large-scale operations to curb smuggling and prevent cross-border trafficking of goods like sugar, fertilizer, petrol, diesel, and non-customs-paid vehicles.

The meeting also discussed the repatriation process of illegal immigrants, stating adherence to federal guidelines and timelines.

CM Bugti stressed the importance of a peaceful Balochistan for a stable Pakistan, stating collective efforts against terrorism and a commitment to addressing grievances of Balochistan’s residents.

He highlighted the government’s focus on better governance, aiming to deliver tangible benefits to the people within the next few months, and urged everyone to contribute to the province’s progress.
