Barrister Saif accuses Sharif family of post distribution

Barrister Saif, the Information Advisor for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has voiced concerns about the ongoing pattern of position allocation within the Sharif family. According to him, the Sharif family is selectively distributing key national roles among its members.

Saif highlighted the case of Ishaq Dar, who allegedly felt discomfort in his role as foreign minister and was subsequently appointed as deputy prime minister.

Saif pointed out that the constitution does not include any provision for the position of deputy prime minister.

He criticized the Sharif family’s approach, accusing them of maneuvering to transform Pakistan into a state where personal interests outweigh national priorities, likening it to a “banana republic” scenario.

Furthermore, Saif also commented on the actions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, alleging that she is resorting to theatrical gestures to assert her authority. He suggested that her decision to wear a Punjab police uniform was a manifestation of her dissatisfaction with her current role.

These remarks indicate a broader critique of the governance style and decision-making processes within the Sharif family-led government.
