Barrister Taj Langah’s 84th birthday celebrated with enthusiasm

BAHAWALPUR: The joyous occasion of Rehber Saraikistan Barrister Taj Muhammad Khan Langah’s 84th birthday was commemorated at the Bar Room in Ahmedpur East. The event witnessed the presence of numerous senior lawyers, intellectuals, poets, representatives from civil society, labor, and farmer leaders of the bar room, along with diverse members of the community.

Speaking at the celebration, the Central Secretary General of the Pakistan Saraiki Party, Muhammad Akbar Ansari, lauded the extraordinary persona of Barrister Taj Langah and regarded his birth as a profound blessing for the region. Ansari highlighted that Taj Langah’s efforts have not only illuminated the name of Saraiki across Pakistan but have also garnered global recognition.

Stressing Taj Langah’s role as a benevolent figure for the region, Ansari emphasized that the peaceful political endeavors led by him have solidified the case for a Saraiki province to an extent where global powers cannot deny its legitimacy.

Former President of Bar Room Ahmedpur Sharqia, Diwan Abdul Rasheed Bukhari Advocate, hailed Taj Langah as a true hero of the land. He praised Langah for dedicating his life to championing the rights of marginalized individuals, remaining steadfast in his ideology until his passing. Bukhari acknowledged the millions who follow Langah’s legacy and paid tribute to his invaluable contributions, asserting that Langah’s birthday symbolizes a gift from nature to reshape the destiny of the region.

Former President of Bar Nadeem Khan Barbara Advocate echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that Barrister Taj Langah was a political trailblazer who tirelessly fought for the rights of the region’s underprivileged since its early days. He stated that Langah’s selfless services are being commemorated by the entire Wasib.

President of the Press Club, Nasir Rizvi, acclaimed Taj Langah as an educated and competent individual whose political insight has elevated the stature of Saraiki discourse both nationally and internationally.

Secretary General of Bar Ahmedpur Sharqia, Parveen Atta Malik Advocate, expressed honor in celebrating the birthday of their great hero, Barrister Taj Langah. Malik stressed that the time has come to challenge and overcome the dominance of Punjab.

Provincial Secretary General of the proposed province of Saraykistan, Muhammad Ijazur Rehman, hailed Taj Langah’s peaceful struggle spanning over a quarter of a century as a charismatic achievement in itself. Rehman noted that Langah’s visionary political insight has not only led to the fulfillment of his demands but has also propelled the Saraiki national movement onto the global stage.
