Blinken’s visit to Ramallah, Israel of no significance, says Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri

Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri expressed that Secretary Blinken’s visits to Ramallah and Israel did not signify any substantial shift in the United States’ stance.

According to Abu Zuhri, the purpose of the visit appeared to be backing the security interests of the occupying force. He emphasized that there seemed to be no discernible divergence between the positions of Israel and the United States.

In a statement, Hamas criticized Blinken’s stance, accusing the U.S. of significant involvement in the violations and crimes perpetrated by the Israeli army in Gaza. The statement condemned Blinken’s efforts to justify the actions of the Israeli occupation forces, characterizing them as attempts to absolve the occupation from its responsibility for the suffering endured by civilians, including children, women, and the elderly in Gaza.
